We've been busy behind the scenes here at CrochetMyCrotch.com. First of all, we've got a new temporary address here - PO Box soon to come. Oh, and don't even ask about the city I live in. Like Fruitland, I'm not making this one up.
Second of all, it's the holiday season. This means you've got until Tuesday, December 20th to order any last-minute gifts. And I don't need to tell you how happy your family members and friends will be to unwrap a vulva this Christmas, or Hannukah, or Yule, or Kwanzaa, or whatever else you choose to celebrate.
Monday, December 19th is the last day you may order to qualify for FREE shipping. If you wait til Tuesday, you will have to pay $3.85 for Priority Shipping to receive your package by Christmas.
Why don't you place your order now?
And last but not least, those of you in Kansas City can tune in to the Johnny Dare Morning Show on 98.9 KQRC tomorrow morning around 6:50 CST to hear the morning DJs interview me on the air - again! (The first time was 7/26/04, and was a hell of a lot of fun, so be sure to listen up.)
Lots of news to report. We've been officially online for a month, and have been mentioned on DC101 twice and HFS once, in addition to being interviewed on Ocean 98.1. Hooray!
Site updates out the wazoo.
More radio news - CrochetMyCrotch was featured on DC101's Elliot in the Morning show today! Says the News and Notes page, "Need gift ideas? Visit Crochet My Crotch for the perfect coin purse… crochetmycrotch.com." Thanks, Elliot!
Also, yesterday's interview has been saved on mp3 if you'd like to hear how it went.
CrochetMyCrotch will be on the radio Wednesday, April 13! If you are in the Ocean City, MD area, turn your dials to Ocean 98.1 FM - or tune in via streaming web here. The station's morning show will interview Becki about CMC at approximately 8:50 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
We're live! CrochetMyCrotch.com is officially open to the public.
Done and done! Boy, am I excited. The official launch date has been set - mark your calendars for Friday, April 8, 2005!
Another long wait while I got the kinks sorted out with the shopping cart. It works like a charm now; the only thing left to do before I open the site is to fix a few cosmetic problems.
Wow, what a long wait. I revamped the catalog, added a picture album for my products, and fixed a few minor things that were bugging me. Still working out the kinks in the email confirmation and discounts, but hopefully that'll be fixed soon.
Payment is fully functional now. At this point, I'm just waiting to fix a couple bugs with email confirmation and discounts, but feel free to place an order if you'd like.
Hey! It's my birthday, and the site is online. How cool is that? I'll have some minor changes before I really start publicizing the site, but for now, it's (mostly) working.
